What amazes me about Bill Burr is how he can go off-script interacting with the audience and still deliver funny line after funny line. It takes a lot of intelligence and quick thinking on your feet to do comedy. It's a fine art and this is when he does his best work. And taking taboo topics defiant in the face of society, while making them funny is something that takes some real guts.

I'm here again - I'm happy to say my partner doesn't play these games, but I'm here because after making some (I think) fairly solid points about the toxicity of implying that modern female artists/authors have a harder time than male ones (points my partner agrees with me on, I might add) I got a few likes but I also got a few angry comments from circlejerking women who attack me personally before lezzing out on each other about how right they all are, and it makes me sick to my stomach, but it also hurts my feelings, tbh. Had to hear Bill talk about this. Made me feel better. (Was just rereading my comment before leaving it, and the irony hit me that I left a comment as a male writer saying I felt I wasn't allowed to be personal, and I got attacked for it. HUH)
